About the Mentors
Nicacia Lino de Jesús
Guardian of the language and a defender of the territory, she is a Masewal communicator of a Community Radio called "Radio Tosepan Limakaxtum" . She is a Technician in Business Administration and has a diploma "Life Plan" that was developed by the Iberoamerican University of Mexico and the Union of Cooperatives of Tosepan. At the present, she studies Biology at the Technological Institute of Zacapoaxtla. She also enjoys project management and the theater.
Elizabeth Herrera Martinez
She is a Cabecar from the Cocoa Clan of the native peoples of Costa Rica.
She is part of a Women's Association that is located in Alto Pacuar de Chirripó, that emerged with the aim of making visible the indigenous woman to strengthen the ancestral knowledge, preserve the culture, language, identity and dignity. It is a space for collective support and a safe space to accompany indigenous women on labor, educational, legal and emotional issues
