A1.3 Consolidating and finalizing the national strategies for the gender integrative approach in the focus countries.
Activities
- Support Colnodo in documenting collectives, networks, and organizations working on gender issues around the areas where the community networks are located.
- Support Colnodo in establishing an institutional gender policy in Colnodo with a section on work in rural areas.
Outcomes
- Increased visibility and documentation of gender-focused initiatives within community networks across Colombia, creating a foundation for further advocacy and support.
- Institutional gender policy developed within Colnodo, with a specific focus on the inclusion of rural areas and their unique needs.
Outputs
- Report by Colnodo on collectives, networks, and organizations working on gender issues in community networks, with an emphasis on rural areas where CCCIs are implemented.
- Institutional gender policy document developed by Colnodo.
A 1.7 Provide gender-specific capacity building, sensitisation and mentoring for support organisations and their communities within focus countries. This includes various strategies for community engagement, movement building and knowledge and learning integrative approaches such as: solidarity circles, training of trainers, referral systems and in person exchanges.

Activities
- Contribute to the consolidation of Colnodo’s methodology of digital security in networks with a focus on gender and emphasis on prevention and attention to situations of digital violence.
- Support Colnodo in planning and implementing a in-person Bootcamp of the first edition of the National School in Colombia, making sure gender perspective is integrated to the event and activities.
Outcomes
- Strengthened digital security strategies tailored to gendered experiences of violence and harassment, leading to safer digital spaces for all members of the community networks in the Colombian context.
- Strong presence, participation and engagement of women in the workshops and activities of the Bootcamp and community care practices implemented during the event.
Outputs
- Creation by Colnodo of a gender-focused digital security methodology, including materials and training modules, tailored for community networks and addressing gendered risks in online spaces.
- Regional Bootcamp with the intention of strengthening the CCC movement in Colombia from the meeting and capacity building of communities and graduates of the first edition of the National School of NC in Colombia.
A 2.8 Support the visibility and engagement of women in CCCs by securing the necessary resources for women to advance their engagement in CCCIs and other relevant ICT spaces for the advancement of gender responsive strategies.
A 3.5 Highlight the work of women in CCCIs in the focus countries as well as the work of the gender coordinators.
Produce one article about the work Colnodo is doing on masculinities.
A 4.3 Provide gender sensitization and internal learning and capacity building on relevant issues related to gender engagement within the LocNet team.
